| Website Name: | if you know the name of the website you require information about, simply type the name or a part of the name (see 'Search Tips' for further information) in the 'Website Name' field and press Search. Results will be displayed immediately - simply click on the website title or screenshot to view the full record.
From here you can view that magazine's full entry to find information such as contact details, a general description, demographics, advertising rates and deadline information, plus publications specifications and deadlines. |
| Publisher Name: | if you are unsure of the exact name of a website but you know the publisher, use the 'Publisher Name' field. Enter either the whole or part name and press search. Search results will contain any websites that have publishers matching your search. Click the website's title or screenshot to view the website's entry, or click the publisher name to view the entry for the publisher. |

| Description: | if you are looking for a website or range of websites which contain something specific, you can choose to use the 'Description' field. Type in a search term such as 'cook' for all websites containing variations of the word 'cook' in the websites general description to view a list of all matching websites. For information on how to make this feature more efficient, including using multiple search values and 'search characters', see 'Advanced Searching'. |
| Readership Desc: | if you are looking for a particular audience, for example, chefs, use the 'readership desc' field. The readership field contains information such as a website's target audience and demographic information and will return a list of any websites that match your search. To further narrow your search, try one of the 'Advanced Searching' techniques. |
| Categories: | if you know the type of website you wish to view, use the 'Category' field. This is a predetermined list of categories contained within the Media Directory. Choosing from this list will return all publications in that particular category. |
