| Below you will find some explanations for the search fields available in the Newsletter search. |
| Name: | if you know the name of the publication you require information about, simply type the name or a part of the name (see 'Search Tips' for further information) in the 'Publication Name' field and press Search. Results will be displayed immediately - simply click on the publication title or front cover image to view the full record.
From here you can view that newsletters/journal's full entry to find information such as contact details, a general description, demographics, advertising rates and deadline information, plus publication deadlines

| Publisher Name: | if you are unsure of the exact name of a publication but you know the publisher, use the 'Publisher Name' field. Enter either the whole or part name and press search. Search results will contain any newsletters/journals that have publishers matching you search. Click the newsletter's title or front cover to view the newsletter's entry, or click the publisher name to view the entry for the publisher. |

| Description: | if you are looking for a publication or range of publications which contain something specific, you can choose to use the 'Description' field. Type in a search term such as 'profession' for all newsletters/journals containing variations of the word 'profession' in the publications general description. For information on how to make this feature more efficient, including using multiple search values and 'search characters', see 'Advanced Searching'. |
| Readership Desc: | if you are looking for a particular audience, for example, chefs, use the 'readership desc' field. The readership field contains information such as a newsletter/journal's target audience and demographic information and will return a list of any titles that match your search. To further narrow your search, try one of the 'Advanced Searching' techniques. |
| Circulation: | if you are interested in a publication circulation details, enter a start range to display publications with a matching circulation range. You can choose to refine this to CAB or ABC certified statistics only. This field may be combined with any of our other search fields to narrow your results. |
| ISSN: | The ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) is a unique code for the identification of serial publications. It can be used wherever information on serials needs to be recorded or communicated. The ISSN is the serials equivalent of the ISBN (International Standard Book Number). Use this field if you know the ISSN, or have a part ISSN to return a list of matching publications. |
Newsletter Module

The contact search returns a list of contact information for key personnel associated specifically with Newsletters. Type in the name or part name of a Newsletter or Newsletter's publisher to view contact information for staff members. If you know the first name, surname or email address of a specific person you can use that to search for contacts without knowing which Newsletter they work for.
The 'All Newsletters' link in the left hand menu displays all available newsletters broken down alphabetically. Simply select the first letter/character of the newsletter title you are after in the drop down list to view a list of all corresponding newsletters. The number in parentheses next to each letter indicates the number of titles that match.
